Iridology Assessment

For over 150 years, Iridologists have made observations of the relationship between the organs of the body and the iris of the eye. The iris is the colored portion of the eye. Iridology is one of the techniques used by our Naturopath, Dr. Morgan, to assess your overall state of health and well-being. By careful observation of the patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris- important information about your systemic health may also be monitored.

These observations correlate to an iris chart, which divides the iris into zones that correspond to specific parts of your body. The eyes have been called "windows", or “mirrors” allowing the trained provider to “look into” or “see a reflection” into or of the body's health status. Overactivity, inflammation, and stress can be detected using the observations of the iris.

The examination of your irises for tissue changes, specific pigment patterns and irregular stromal architecture takes just a few minutes. The markings and patterns are compared to the iris chart and are combined with other evaluation methods to provide you detailed information concerning your health and wellness status. See Matthew 6:22 for what the bible says about the eye.

There is no special equipment needed for this evaluation, and there is no special preparation required by you. The assessment is painless and is not affected by past procedures done on the eye in most cases. Dr. Morgan will use a simple LED flashlight and make notes referencing the iridology chart, which divides the iris into 80-90 zones. An iris assessment is not used to diagnose conditions, it is a simple, quick, and painless method that Dr. Morgan uses in her comprehensive evaluation and assessment of each person and during each visit, charting your progress and monitoring new developments.
